How can my moving service be free?

All our services are provided at no charge to you and are IN ADDITION TO any and all available move-in specials being offered at the time. Like every licensed apartment locator, we are paid a commission for providing the apartment community with a quality tenant like you, provided you meet certain simple qualifications. Commissions paid to us are unrelated to any specials, rent rates or promotions offered to you by the apartment communities. We then use a portion of our earned commission and pay for all or part of your move. It's just that simple.

 

What is included in my free moving service?
Obviously we can't afford to move a grand piano or a Rembrandt for free, so we have put together a list of included items here. We will provided a price quotation for any items not listed in our included items. And, you'll find our rates for such extras to be very competitive.

 

How does the cash rebate work?

Cash rebates are offered as an option. However, they are limited to 20% of our total commission and will be paid at the time we receive our commission from the apartment community you choose. That usually takes 30-60 days from the time you move.

What quality of moving service do you provide?

We provide professional, licensed and insured moving services by Exodus Moving & Storage. (www.ExodusMoving.net). They are a family owned and operated Texas business and members of the Better Business Bureau. They have a reputation for providing referrable moving experiences. All you belongings are shrink wrapped and transported in trucks, not trailers.

Of course, if you prefer to select another mover or move yourself, you may do so. However, we know your cost will be higher, because we do not charge for your moving service when the above conditions are met.

 

Do I have to personally meet with you to get what I need?

Absolutely not. However, in some cases an apartment community may require a licensed agent to meet you there and escort you through the property. Otherwise, there are three ways you can benefit from our free services:

What is required to qualify for a free move?

IMPORTANT: There are only three conditions required by the apartment community where you choose to live...

  1. You must specifically list "My Dallas Apartment" as the one who referred you.
  2. You must list "My Dallas Apartment" on BOTH your guest card on your initial visit, AND on your apartment lease application.
  3. Your minimum monthly lease amount must be $750 per month. If less than $750.00, you will be eligible for a reduced moving credit/free move offer or cash back. You must sign at least a 6-month lease to be eligible for t he free move or rebate offer.

The apartment community will NOT pay our commission, and you will NOT receive these added benefits, including a complimentary move, if you have not accurately and thoroughly completed the above qualifications. How can we provide you with a complimentary move?

It is very simple. We control the moving cost and we pay that cost out of our commission. Of course, if you prefer to select another mover or move yourself, you may do so. However, we know your cost will be higher, because we do not charge for your moving service when the above conditions are met.
